Just got my vocal trainer, it's been great so far! I'm enjoying using it to warm up and cool down. Such a cool gadget! I like the different settings. Replaces my need for a straw that always breaks in my bag.
I've only had my vocal trainer for a few days, but my pitch is already improving.
I keep one on my car rearview mirror - practice while driving down the road - a few minutes here a few minutes there - now I need to get one for the kitchen to hang on / off a kitchen cabinet door - to train while doing dishes. Super easy to change the level of difficulty. I can feel the difference when I actually sing.
Great tool for vocal training just started with it and can already see an improvement. I most likely will get a second one. One for my studio and one for traveling/gigs.
This is my second purchase. The vocal trainer is the perfect tool for vocalists. With consistent use, you will see a marked improvement in your clarity, strength, and tone. Nothing has worked as well and as quickly as the vocal trainer for me!
I bought this in the beginning and wasn’t sure… practiced all summer with it prior to our band rehearsals and in the car and improved my singing so much I had the best confidence. A week before our big gig (this is not to share it’s a personal item) I was telling our band mate that this device was what made my voice. I reluctantly let him borrow it and didn’t get it back before our big show and I was so unconfident without it to practice prior. That won’t eve happen again. I’ve order a few to have so I have back ups. You won’t be disappointed with getting this !!
I haven’t sang in a long time and I am so excited to use my Vocal trainer to progress . What a great tool to have and I been practicing everyday. Every little bit helps.

It’s impractical to carry a water bottle and straw everywhere. This portable trainer allows me to warm up in the car on the way to rehearsal or a gig. Makes a great difference. Thanks!

I am a professional musician and have been for the last 40+ years. I was a voice major while majoring in music at college. Teaching acoustic guitar (with a focus on playing guitar and singing at the same time) one of the features I offer is along with printed material I record what the student will be practicing and forward that to them as a sound file. Listening to those sound files in recent years I've noticed a significantly diminished result in the overall quality of my singing. Not as much volume, control of dynamics and I found myself straining to hit notes in the upper part of my register. This was scary and I attributed it to not exactly being a youngster anymore. Then I noticed an add for the Vocal Trainer. I admit I was more than a bit skeptical at first but hey, what did I have to lose? Almost immediately I noticed an improvement in my control over long passages. But at the end of two weeks (following the maker's many wonderful practice and application suggestions) I heard significant overall improvement in all aspects of my singing. The most impressive thing was that I was not straining to hit the higher notes in songs, so much so that I reintroduced songs to my repertoire that I'd given up on. Best of all, students, friends and quite a few listeners at gigs became very complimentary about my vocal performance, yeah!!! The device is easy to use but do adjust to the settings with more resistance gradually. My Voice Trainer comes with a great little padded case and it is required equipment before I do a show. I just keep mine in my car and on the way to an engagement I use it as I'm driving, sometimes doing a suggested exercise or two or "singing" along with a song playing on the radio. The result is I'm always warmed up and ready to take the stage. It is elegant in design and small enough to stick in my pocket. I'm not exaggerating in the least when I say my Vocal Trainer has given me back my singing voice. Buy one, follow the suggested exercises and I'd bet you will have the same experience.
I was a bit sceptical, but thought I would give this a try. My voice was sounding and feeling more tired as I've gotten older. I just tried it once prior to going to Church and singing with the congregation. I noticed significant improvement in the quality of my voice. I will keep exercising with it and am very pleased so far.
I’ve had several of my students purchase this device. It is superior to the straw method, I’m so glad I have found the vocal trainer.
I started adding the VT to my regiment of warm-ups and exercises, not replacing them totally, but supplementing the routines my voice is already used to.
I have also started using it to target challenging areas in songs that are on the regular set list, this seems to be whittling away the the problem spots.
I believe this is a great tool for reducing tension and training your voice to relax, specifically to relax right about the time your instincts are to tense up.
So far this is looking like perfect device to un-program bad habits and re-program proper muscle memory, motor skills, and good habits.
The manufacturer could go one step further and shape the mouth piece end in an oval, so the end-user has a more ergonomic embouchure to contend with.
As a performing vocalist, the Trainer provides an optimal way to warm up thoroughly yet quietly. I’m at full capacity when commencing a performance and I know it.
I’m also using the Trainer in a generalised way-in vocal sessions, day to day activities etc.
I’ve purchased three for my band mates and we’re all in! Highly recommended!
Using straw technique is cool but not convenient. This device is the perfect to-go, on the road, etc. Vocal trainer that works and I keep giving it as a gift to others!
