I can feel this device helping heal and strengthen my voice. It forces correct placement, which I need as a middle aged amateur returning to serious singing after 25 years away! Note that for a lot of vocal cord issues, nothing works in isolation--I think SOVT trainers like this need to be paired with individual voice therapy and other angles of intervention (I'm trying cardio exercise, relaxation/meditation, and treating silent reflux [caused by pepsin, not necessarily acid]) as well. But this seems like a really effective device!
I have done straw phonation exercises in the past with other products and straws, but this tool is amazing! It warmed my voice faster, I can feel the resistance, I needed to have my voice in top shape when I have to voice for Videogame projects and it resets my voice during the session. I’m in love!
Better Voice actually works. I keep it around my neck almost daily like a necklace. I’m constantly humming in it and singing along to tracks while I’m driving or just working around the house.
I’ve noticed my vocals are more relaxed, my range is broader and I’m not struggling to hit certain notes.
I highly recommend!

I'm a trained singer, performer, and vocal coach and I love the vocal trainer by better voice. I tell all my students about it. Using the vocal trainer is a great way to expand your range and build proper techniques without blowing out your voice in the process. I had the original (blue) vocal trainer, and this updated black one is so amazing. I love the travel case. Highly recommend it.
