For such a simple device, it really is effective, I sing ooh, scales and escalate in pitch as I'm singing into the Better Voice vocal trainer. Just messing around at a Karaoke one night, for the first time I sang Tennessee Whiskey and Lady. The DJ said I had the best voice there. I can really feel the freedom in my voice that is released, strengthening my voice, with timbre,tone and delivery! Thank you for such a great product that truly works! God bless!

It was a leap of faith getting this. But it’s really excellent. Just a couple of minutes doing scales low to high on the hard setting really warms up the voice. I’m trying to use it to improve my range, it’s only been about a week of use but my voice feels stronger and less strained. I’ve adopted the mindset that I’m building up muscle strength and endurance with singing and in a week I can feel progress already. It feels really strange at first but it really really helps with the voice. I tried to do a part of a song and it sounded a bit strained, so I did a short go in the vocal trainer and did it again and it felt much better. It’s a great idea and I believe it works. The cost was a gamble but absolutely worth it. If I was richer I would have several of these so I could use them more often. The handy neck strap makes it beautifully portable and I keep it on me when rehearsing on my own and even practice scales when out walking, as it’s much quieter than blaring out notes in public, stops people thinking you have a ‘thing’. All in all, love it and would definitely recommend it.
I did see a YouTube video of a female singing and she wasn’t really hitting the note crisply enough and her voice coach asked her to have a quick go of the vocal trainer which she did, and then she sang the note again and it was beautiful. I was very cynical about it being able to have an effect as quick as that and as good as that because that will be something that will be very easy to produce for advertising purposes. But I now believe that the video was completely honest because that’s exactly how it works. You just need to be a little bit patient and have realistic expectations but it most definitely works.

I'm 76 yrs old. I don't do reviews because frankly I expect to get what I pay for so doing reviews should be unnecessary. That said, I'm doing this one because what I got (Vocal Trainer) far exceeded what I expected...particularly given the price. Yes you can spend more...a LOT more...I have. But why? It's portable, adjustable and small enough to fit in a shirt pocket. I hung it on my car mirror so everytime I'm in my car I can use it. On the way to golf, pickleball, fishing or a gig...it's right there for me to use. In fact, I have a second one in the house for daily use. Buy it...in fact...buy two of them it's still cheaper than anything else on the market. Oh...one more thing...yes it definitely works as advertised!

I’ve noticed an improvement overall.

I love this device - quick and audible results with regular use. I can hit higher and lower notes and the transitions are getting so much smoother. My dog (obviously noticing it smelled like kisses from me) decided to chew it to bits and I plan to replace it because it was totally worth it. 100% recommend!

I sing for fun. I’m no professional and, at 75 years old, I don’t have any aspirations. If I did, they would have been dashed.

1 1/2 years ago, I was diagnosed with cancer. On my vocal cords! 😖 I opted for surgery over radiation and was told I would never sing again. I refused to accept that.

I did go a step further by hiring a vocal coach, who refused to do any training within a year of my surgery. She did, however, recommend the Better Voice Vocal Trainer. I purchased one a month before she would begin formal training.

I had never had any formal voice training before, so didn’t know what to expect.

3 months later I have a 3 octave vocal range. I added 8 semi-tones to my upper range, (vs my pre-surgery ability,) and 7 to my lower range.

I’m still struggling with my falsetto, but both my coach and I are amazed by how much the Vocal Trainer has accelerated my progress!

There are similar devices on the market, and we’ve tried them, but I personally feel the Better Voice Vocal Trainer is far superior to other options.

A friend told me about Better Voice and recommended it to me because I sing a lot. I am in a Theatre musical, a member of my church choir, and a member of our local Community Chorus. I'm in rehearsals 4 nights a week. I have found that Better Voice makes my throat and vocal cords feel better. The more I use it, it seems easier to sing. So I will also recommend Better Voice.

Quickest and most quiet way to warm your voice up. Previous routine took 15 and I’m good to go in rough 5-10 now and doesn’t require me to be very loud.
