This was recommend to me by singing teacher to help with my high larynx. I was so shocked at how well it worked. Using it for warm-up really makes a difference. Unfortunately I let my son try it out and he likes it so much he won’t give it back LOL.

I hesitated for quite some time about the Vocal Trainer, mainly due to the cost. I kept watching the videos and reviews and finally decided to move forward, and I genuinely wish I had done so much sooner. The progress over the first few weeks has been truly incredible. I can see a difference in sustain and the ease of runs in both higher and lower octaves. I use this twice a day during my usual 10-minute vocal warm-ups (Jacobs Vocal Academy).

I use this tool every day to help my voice get warm and stay warm safely. It’s especially handy when I need to warm up on public transport and don’t want to look insane doing lip trills and “ng’s”.

For several years I've used the straw and water method and this is definitely more convenient, with a more exact measurement system of resistance. It did take a bit to get used to the rectangular shape of the mouthpiece.

As a barbershop singer, I was taught to use a straw in water to provide resistance. This is SO much better! I hang it around my neck and use it for warm ups, when I want to work a phrase or passage that I seem to lack air on, and I have control over the amount of resistance so I am sure I am gradually increasing and strengthening my breath support!
