I’m a trained opera singer, and while I can’t say this changes much for me technically, it’s a great way to get warm without causing anyone’s ears to ring. Sometimes you need to keep going in the dressing room or the car, and this is a great way to get some quality warmup time without making a huge racket.
After the very first use I could tell the looseness of my vocals. I use it daily while just sitting around. I highly recommend recommend this trainer

As a woman in menopause whose voice has become a little less stable, this tool is so helpful! I sing with several choirs, am in a band and I teach voice as well and this is so much better than the straw exercises we have all used. After warming up with it, I sang through one of my songs and my voice was stronger and placement was a no brainer. I cannot recommend this enough.

I had thyroid cancer 2 years ago and needed a full thyroidectomy, along with a neck dissection. Long story short, I have been working to get my full vocal strength back. Its easy to use...and it works amazingly..vocalize thru the chamber and send some wind...just a few minutes and I was singing clearer. A few days I hit some good notes w no cracks. Gj better voice

Yes, you can probably get the same results with a straw, but the compact cute case and ease of accurate adjustments are definitely worth the price.
